This down alternative pillow is created by joining strips of hair on hide leathers together and top stitching them, then adding offset finished leather strips appliqued atop these chevron patterned leather strips. This configuration creates a luxurious and unique patterning that is welcome in all decors where modern verve and crafted elements are celebrated. Because no two leathers are exactly alike, these leathers are carefully selected but there may be color variation between the leather pieces that are joined together. The leather strips atop these however should be uniform and match. Leather variation in color and color placement in the leather is not a flaw and is considered a part of the character of the piece. Each is unique and should be celebrated as such. This pillow features a back that is a coordinating solid cotton velvet with a hidden zipper closure. This allows the cover to be removable and for fills to be changed as desired.
